I'm Nicola and I have Cystic fibrosis (CF).
CF is an hereditary, terminal condition that is caused by a defective gene. This causes our bodies to produce more mucus than a normal person, this predominately affects our lungs but can also affect the pancreas, digestive system and the ability to conceive.
With me it mainly affects my lungs and digestive system but as it's a progressive disease who knows what I've got to look forward to!
As CF pretty much runs my life I don't really get out much but luckily for me there are some wonderful people out there called Authors! I literally live to read!
